Life as a writer is great: you do what you want, you decide the schedule, you publish, you get interviewed by radio and TV stations, and you really make a boatload of money.
If you are famous…
If you’re not, it almost seems like you’re begging for the ”like” on social; you post, that yes, but of course it has a cost and in that cost you forget the profit. And write when you have time because life is rushing by and you always have a thousand things to do and sometimes you feel the desperate need to stop, relax and sleep a little bit.
Moving away from writing.
On the plus side, and this is no small thing, you invent worlds and characters that would otherwise never have existed.
And they’re your Creatures, you’re curious about them and you love them, you birthed them from your fervent mind, and there’s pride and pride in that.
